But what is it? And what is scripting?
In very brief terms, scripting is about automating functions and processes with a system (or platform, or another framework or language). Scripts can be combined into other programs for specific purposes.

And Python, as a scripting language, is über powerful with data. At Mainstay, we use it mostly for integrating data between systems, manipulating data, incorporating algorithms and calculations. More widely, Python can be applied to:
